I am often asked to give advice to new slaves. I'll sit and chat with them for a while and listen as they worry that their Master will find displeasure in them, or I'll do the happy dance with them as they beam with excitement. It never fails that they wish to know, "raine, how do I make it last?" Here is only the tip of the iceberg of raine's thoughts. I think first and foremost, you both must be friends, deep in your soul friends before you can ever hope to be anything more. Sometimes, simply remaining friends, is the key to a successful relationship.

The best advice raine could give to a slave just starting out....

There will be times....

that He will touch you
...and you will burn with desire.
that He will ignore you
...and you will go to bed alone.
that He will be silent
...and you will long for the barest whisper.
that He will be angry
...and you will soothe him with gentleness.
that He will laugh
...and your soul will light up.
that He will look at you from across the room
...and your belly will burn for Him.
that He will take you for granted
...and you will scream silently in your heart.

There will also be times....

you are so angry at Him
...you can barely breathe.
you will hate him
...with every fiber of your being.
you will try and yank the kolar from your throat
...and fail miserably.

It is in this moment of mindless frustration that He will do the unforgivable...

He will tell you with some word or gesture that He loves you
that He needs you, that He cherishes you....

What will you do then?
You will fall to your knees and kiss His feet and begin the cycle of emotions all over again because you belong to Him and you care enough to stay at His feet even though half the time you are screaming inside silently.
