_______Serves_______

The point of a serve is to make the Free want not only the food or drink, but the girl's company also. It is true that a kajira perhaps spends most of her time serving. Each serve should be unique. You will find that you will build relationships with camp regulars and you will know what they like, their favorite bowls or goblets, and just how far sexually you may go with their food or drink. Always keep in mind that you are serving food and drink as well as trying to tempt them to use you for sexual service. But raine, you say, I am a collared slave to Another and restricted and do not wish their sexual service. That is fine, still be sensual, it is expected on Gor and let's face it, wouldn't you like it if that particular free complimented to your owner something similar to "You are indeed lucky to have one so fine in your collar." or "I wish to buy that one for she fires my body as well as my drink? I do not know one Free who would not beam proudly with a smile at this and I don't know how many times that Sandtiger has said to me that someone wished to purchase me from him and he got that little slow burn in his chest of pride.

It is difficult to be unique in a serve on Gor when there is a ratio of fifty slaves for every one free. Do so, take your time, you will find there are things you will do repeatedly in serves. These small things will be your trademark, or be sure to ask if the Free wants a quick serve. I know very few who wish a quick serve and that is usually only when they have business to attend. Most (especially Masters) want a good, sensual serve.

A note to Free's that are being served - and please, please do not be offended - most slaves spend a lot of time writing out their serves in detail for you to be able to actually "see" the vessel, the girl/boy, the emotion and movements within the serve. For you to receive six or seven long posts on a simple serve and then to post "watching the slave" after each one is a bit, well, it is not fair to the person who is playing the role behind that computer screen. I have been around Gor a long time. This is the most common "gripe" (forgive me) of the slaves. Simply take a moment to use common sense. If you were posting your heart out in details and got "watching the girl" after each post, how many of you would continue posting with all your heart in each post? Only food for thought.

I have to take a moment and give credit where it is due. Tsukure, Slayer and Sandtiger (all of Harigga) and Shariykah (of Xenochat) will always, always address each post when a girl is serving them. They notice everything about the serve and pay attention. It gives this girl no greater joy than to serve these four and especially the man who owns her. As raine serves different things and learns different things, she will post them for you to have as an example.

Always remember these things: 

Repeat the order back to the free when they give it to you. (Example: chilled ale Master, in a bowl, quick serve, thank you Master)

If you have never served the person before make sure you ask if they want their vessel coated with slave honey before you do it. Most women do NOT wish for the taste of kajira.

Check for flaws in the vessel, plate, etc.

Always be sensual unless it is a quick serve and if so, one post will get the job done.

Make sure you are serving the drink, food, etc in the proper vessel. If you do not know what it is then read read read and know them. This can be found on any larger Gor site. Harigga has a very good page. Read it.

Always thank the person for allowing you to serve and "hope" that they find you pleasing. Work this phrase into your serve somewhere at the end.

If you are a collared slave and are serving another (and this is only my personal opinion) I have always, always mentioned the kolar around my neck. 

_______dances_______

Dances are perhaps the hardest thing to do on Gor however, they are the most emotional and sensual. It takes me days to even begin to bring some sort of shape to my thoughts when a dance comes to mind. If I could give a new dancer any advice it would be this. Take your time and think it out. If you need to (and yes I have) act out the part in your living room floor. Move your body as you have it typed. You will be amazed at some of the things you have yourself doing.  You will go through many revisions. Do not become disheartened. I think the first dance I ever did I had at least eight crumpled up pieces of paper to shoot toward the wastebasket. Simply be yourself. Many people have a natural type style and if you change it around in your dance, those watching will think you have lost your mind. If you are saucy and sassy then by all means continue it and add a sensual flair. The point of the dance is to honor your master, your home, a festival etc....but more importantly it is an excellent opportunity for you to shine. Use your own style of sensuality, cleverness, uniqueness and dazzle them. You can do it!
